Sunday Saunter

A lot has happened in recent times and Lea and I have decided to share this blog!

After a slow start to the day and having missed my morning cycle, Lea, Bianca, Caitlyn and I got out for a leisurely walk.

Caitlyn was very excited on the way
The course we chose was a 3 km circuit at Whareroa Farm!

The walk involved some good uphills and gentle rolling terrain!

The girls did really well and there were some excellent racing opportunities.

There was also time for fun swinging on a loose vine that was discovered by the girls.

During the walk there were some fantastic views!

Approaching the top of the course I felt the urge to let off some steam.

Everyone felt a need for some sustenance.

After a quick bite to eat the girls raced down the hill and Caitlyn lead the way back.

A most pleasant outing on a lovely sunny winter's day that was topped off by a delicious ice cream from the Lindale Candy Store.

Looking forward to more regular posts and keeping better contact with our fellow bloggers.  What did you get up to today?

  1. Hi Paul, I'm so pleased you visited my blog today because I had omitted to put your new blog on my blog roll. Consequently I wasn't seeing your latest posts. I've cured the situation now though. Your pictures are terrific, the girls looked as though they really enjoyed the outing. Oh and that ice cream looks good too.

  2. That is really good you posting again! Looks you had a great afternoon!

  3. Was that Tarzan swinging on that vine? No, it was Paul!
Looks like lots of fun! Yesterday, my son took me to an Atlanta Braves baseball game and we won! Look for it on a future post!
    Take care!

  4. Hi Paul, nice to hear from you :)
I was wondering what had happened to Lea but nice to see that you are sharing this blog.
Looks like you all had a really fun day with lots of exercise.
I'm really enjoying my bike rides - not quite up to your standard though :))

  5. Looks like you had a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by my Blog.

  6. Oh I loved this post what a great idea sharing the blog. The girls are having fun and that is what life is all about. Life is short we should make the best of everyday and seeing the smiling faces of children is the best. B
